Expert Unmarked Grave Detection Services

Precise Unmarked Grave Detection

Unmarked graves can be detected with a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR). This is a non-invasive and non-destructive method that is proven to accurately detect disturbances in the ground. Cemetery surveys respectfully carried out, specialising in remote locations

Detecting underground infrastructure

Advanced Subsurface Infrastructure Detection

S.E.E. Spatial & Geophysics uses advanced geophysical methods to accurately locate underground utilities and infrastructure, ensuring safe, cost-effective construction and excavation while minimizing disruption to the environment.

High accuracy GPS

Using high accuracy GPS we can ensure that valuable cultural landmarks are accurately documented and protected for future generations. Whether for conservation projects, architectural studies, or heritage assessments, we provide detailed, reliable data to support your efforts in preserving our architectural history.

Ground Penetrating Radar

GPR is completely non-invasive, efficient, and precise.

Our primary method is Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) - one of the most trusted tools for mapping burial sites.

GPR is highly effective because it can detect both physical and chemical changes in the ground without disturbing the site.

When a burial takes place, the soil used for back-fill is subtly different from the surrounding soil. These differences are physical, (increased pore space), and chemical, (increase of soil moisture), and it is these differences that the alters the geophysical response.

These differences in soil characteristics can remain for many, even hundreds of years. This is why we can detect burials from the back in the 18th century.
